Germans invaded Crete,Greece. The German Paratroopers were able to attack British soldiers on the island.

German troops reached Stalingrad.

After months of fighting in Stalingrad, the starving outnumbered Germans surrendered to the Soviets.

The Jews started to rebel in the Warsaw Ghetto and try to repel off the Germans, the battle lasted for close to a month, and the outnumbered, poorly armed Jews surrendered to the Germans.

The Battle of Kursk, 900 German tanks against 900 Russian tanks.

The allies landed in Italy, shortly after, Marshall Badoglio Mussolini after being dismissed by King Victor Emanual, surrendered to the Allies.

US and British leaders met in Québec to co-ordinate war plans, as well as plans with Stalin.

The Americans liberated Rome, this marks the first axis capitol captured by the allies, June.4, 1944.

The Soviets crossed the borders of Poland, occupied by Germans. The Germans forces were scarce and depleted and could do little to halt the Soviets.

The fall of Monte Cassino, a major Axis city, opened a road to Rome for the Allies.

The Parisians led started an open rebellion in Paris, in the next few days, Allied forces led by 2nd French Armored Division, commanded by Major General Lecleric, liberated Paris and the next day British and American troops entered the city.

The Battle of Leyte-Surigao Straits, last major battle of the Pacific. During this epic sea/air battle the of the Americans versus the Japanese, the Americans sunk the super-battleship of Musashi.

The Battle of Leyte-Samar, this battle was a superior japanese fleet force, driven off by some American defenders and fighter jets.

The B-29 Bomber Planes, the most powerful planes of the war dropped bombs all over Japan and immensly hurting Japan's industrial capabilities.

After the allies liberated Antwerp, Brussels and Belgium, planed a spectacular operation to capture Rhines Bridge. The Airborne Parachuters were droped at Arnhem Bridge, but failed to link up to the bridge and were wiped out.

The German forces made a surprise attack on the Americans in Belgium, the Germans couldn't catch the city of Balogne and were forced to retreat. But they killed 35,000 Americans first.

January.25, 1945. The Soviets liberated Aushwitz Concentration Camp. At Aushwitz a number of nearly 2,500,000 jews were executed. The Allies eventually liberated Bergen Belson and Dachau. The world now knew the truth and horror of Holocaust.

Battle of Berlin, the last German stand. They battled til all were dead. The Germans fought furociously, but the victory was inevitable, the Soviets liberated Germany from the grasp of the Nazi-Reich.
